My favorite boy #4: The Bathinet

When we were in the hospital, Lucas slept in a bassinet beside my bed.

Oneal was so enamored with it that he wanted to buy one. We checked online, and we saw some that cost upwards of Php 3,000.

So when we brought Lucas home, we put him to sleep in his bathtub instead! We called it his bathinet.

He slept in the bathtub for most of his first month, and we brought the bathtub all over the house: the living room, the basement, the bed. In the evenings, he would sleep in the bathtub, and the bathtub would be in the crib!

But as he grew, Lucas would wriggle and move, and he’d end up in the corner of the bathtub. We were worried that his head would get stuck! Soon his legs got longer, and I had to convince Oneal that he was too long to sleep in the bathinet.
