Brands I love: Human Nature

This is not a sponsored post, and I don’t earn anything by posting this. I’ve received free samples in the past though!

There are many reasons to love this brand. It’s local. The ingredients are as natural, local and chemical-free as possible. The copy on the product packaging is cute. The products smell really nice.

In 2013, I joined a contest and I won free Human Nature products, so I got to try a lot for free!

But what I love most is that they really try to practice what they preach. I know a few people who work there, and more than a few people who are dealers too, and I really appreciate how seriously they take their branding: Pro-Philippines, Pro-Poor, Pro-Environment.

Friends or none, there are more than a few products I have tried and loved.

Hair products

I’ve tried the moisturizing shampoo, in different scents, and I really like how they smell. I forget which scent it is, but one of them left my hair kind of tangled, so I needed conditioner.

Recently, I switched to a different shampoo but I didn’t want to buy conditioner. I remembered I still had smoothing hair serum, and I found that it works quite well! Just one pump massaged into my wet hair does wonders.

Face products

For a long time, I was alternating between Nourishing Facial Wash and Acne Defense facial wash for my facial cleanser, which was especially helpful when I got acne regularly. I’ve tried Day Moisturizer and Night Moisturizer, and both have worked nicely for me. And the Hydrating Face Toner has been good to me too!

Body products

Cooling Leg & Body Cream is so awesome, especially during the summer. In fact, I have to remember to be careful when using this; one time I used too much, and I actually felt cold afterwards! The Healthy Lotion is nice, and I really feel like it gets into my pores and moisturizing my skin! But it can feel a little heavy, the smell is a little overwhelming.

Do you have any favorite products from Human Nature?

Ah, a kindred soul! I, for one, am a fan of the brand’s Pure Strength line for men. 🙂 Some of the products I’ve used for some time now include the Hair Shaper for Men, Bamboo Charcoal Cleansing Bar, and the Oil-Fighting Face Wash.

Of the three, the Hair Shaper takes the cake — as it keeps my hair in place and washes off easily!

Since shaving my head bald last year due to postpartum hairloss, I’ve been using HN Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner. My hair has never been this healthy and strong.

For my face, I use HN Hydrating Creamy Wash Moringa + Elemi Toner, from your reco.

Kevin uses HN For Men products too – from his facial wash to body wash to anti-dandruff shampoo.

Lia is a Baby Dove baby but will try HN kids’ line soon.

I might write a blog post for Human Nature too, lol
