I got back home without incident, and on April 12, we finally went to the OB.
I got an ultrasound, and there we saw the tiny little thing that we had been waiting for. Merely the size of a Gummi bear, but with a heartbeat of over 100 beats per minute, there was Lil Ass-kicker.
It was finally happening. The odds were in our favor. The Force was with us. We were finally pregnant.
